Federal Student Aid
Cutting Edge Academy is approved by the U.S. Department of Education to offer federal financial aid to qualifying students through Title IV of the Higher Education Act. Title IV funds consists of Federal Pell and SEOG Grants, which are not repaid, and low-interest federal student loans, which are repaid at affordable monthly payments starting six months after leaving school. Most students are eligible to apply for assistance. We can help you every step of the way with your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). For students who may not be eligible for federal financial aid, Cutting Edge Academy offers many other affordable and convenient payment plans to help you get started.
New Jersey Student Financial Aid
Cutting Edge Academy is approved by Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) to offer NJCLASS student loans. Borrowers may apply for a loan up to the cost of attendance, less any financial aid.
New Jersey One-Stop Career Center
Students who are unemployed may be able to get a portion of their tuition paid for through the New Jersey Workforce grant provided through your local One-Stop Career Center. Program and applicant eligibility varies in each county so you will need to find your local One-Stop Career Center or unemployment office and inquire with them. Funds through One-Stop Career Center usually cap at $4,000.
NJ Department of Vocation Rehabilitation
The New Jersey Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services is here to help individuals with disabilities that are having trouble finding or holding a job because of their disability. If you have a disability that is preventing you from working, or which is endangering your present employment, you may wish to submit a referral for services.
Tuition Options
Tuition Options delivers customized institutional loan servicing and financing solutions to post-secondary schools nationwide while providing convenient and flexible repayment options for borrowers.
Employer Tuition Assistance
Many companies provide tuition benefits to their employees in the form of either direct payment to the school, or by reimbursing tuition expenses directly to the employee/student. Please check with your company’s Human Resources or Training and Education Department for more information about the education benefits available to you.
Industry Scholarships
A scholarship is a financial aid award given based upon prior academic achievement or a range of other non-academic criteria. Scholarships do not need to be repaid. American Association of Cosmetology Schools (AACS) partners with industry sponsors to offer scholarships and grants to deserving cosmetology students.
In-House Payment Program
Cutting Edge Academy offers its students zero interest in-house payment programs in addition to the above illustrated funding services. Affordable contracted monthly payment schedules are available for students wishing to pay their tuition on their own or to supplement their payment schedule along with other financial options offered.
